Meeting deadlines with 3 hours sleep and a throat infection can be hard. I always try and tell myself no matter how crappy I feel I have to get out of bed, put some lipstick on (my cure for everything) and face the world; especially when I have a list of deadlines to meet.
This morning after a slight sleep in and watching the ANZAC day formalities on TV I ventured out to get some last minute errands ticked off before the long weekend really kicks into gear.
Sunglasses are a must for those sunken eyes, and lipstick to take the attention away from lifeless skin are my two tricks to surviving through days where your just not feelin' it.

The Easter Long Weekend has arrived and that means eating chocolate for breakfast (lunch & dinner), spending quality time with family and friends as well as taking a little time out for yourself. When I have any spare time I like to treat myself to what I like to call 'Domenica Time'. This include face masks, dry body scrubbing, hair treatments, trashy TV and of course CHOCOLATE!!
This year after all the Easter formalities I will be taking some time out to indulge myself with a few new beauty babes that I have picked up over the last couple of months. My latest beauty craze is dry body scrubbing using this brush by Hydrea London. There are so many benefits to drub body scrubbing and I could go on for hours on how invigorated and renewed it leaves you feeling; my brothers are now hooked as well! Exfoliating is a beauty MUST and should never be skipped in your weekly beauty routine.
Another must is facial masks/treatments/ I look like a zombie. Don't steer away from these once a fortnight kind of treatments. They can leave your skin glowing and hydrated for any big events you have coming up in the following weeks. My current favourite is the Quick Fix Facials Anti-Blemish Mud Mask. My hormones were making my face breakout in the weirdest places this month and I found this treatment was the only thing that was calming my skin down. A+ !
And we should never ever forget to treat out hair to a little TLC. With all that heat styling, poking and prodding our hair is the first thing that will show likely signs of ageing and damage. Be like Kate Middleton and keep hair shinny and new by using a hair oil at least once a week. I'm naughty and put a drop in my hair after every show to keep my thin locks looking thicker & shinier. Redken's Diamon Oil is my choice. Have you tried hair oils?
I hope you all have an amazing Easter, eat heaps of chocolate; I will!
